How districts differ from nations

A nation is claimed once, guarded by the outline check, and comes with a presidency, a government and an army. A district is the open layer underneath: anyone can found one, a nation can hold hundreds, and the only scarce thing is the name. The token must be named exactly after the district and launched through the Pons factory — the launch receipt is verified on chain, so a name cannot be squatted with someone else's token.

What a founder earns

The same deal a president gets: your district's coin trades in a locked Uniswap V3 pool with a 1% fee, and 70% of that fee belongs to you, claimable on Pons any time. NEIGHBOURHOODS takes none of it.

Why the parent must be claimed

Deploying under the USA coin only means something once the USA coin exists. Districts inherit their nation's crest, sit on its page, and are priced on the same heartbeat — a district without a nation would be a coin floating in the sea.
